Britton Lynn graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama’s Honors College majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a concentration in sports with minors in Political Science and Kinesiology.
Before joining FOX6 WBRC's Good Day Alabama and Sports team she worked as a Field Reporter for FOX Sports NEXT for year and a half interviewing the nation's top recruits and doing reports with the FOX Sports NEXT analysts. In college, Britton served as an SEC Correspondent for ESPNU for three years. While there she worked as a sideline reporter, conducted exclusive player and coach interviews, covered press conferences and did reports for the network's "SEC Weekly" Show.
Britton has covered everything from the BCS National Championships, the ESPY Awards in LA, NCAA Baseball Super Regionals, Golf SEC Championships, Gymnastics and Cheerleading National Championships, ESPN's 30for30--Pony Exe$$, to working as a news correspondent during the breaking coverage of the April 27th 2011 Tuscaloosa Tornado for Dallas television station Channel 33.
Outside of her work for ESPNU, Britton worked with the University's TideTV and Crimson Tide Sports Network as a reporter and the jumbotron talent during baseball and basketball games. Britton is also very passionate about the NFL and has worked for both Dallas Cowboys Television’s “Blue Star Media” and the Atlanta Falcons.
Besides her television experience, Britton worked as the Senior Sports Writer for the University of Alabama’s school paper, the Crimson White—the most circulated college newspaper in the nation. Britton also freelanced for 'Bama Magazine, the Tuscaloosa News and Sports Spectrum (Christian sports magazine). Britton loves to share athletes’ stories through writing.
Britton is no newcomer to the FOX family after spending the summer of 2010 as an intern with FOX Sports, The Final Score and FOX Sports Interactive in LA.
When she's not working in sports, Britton coaches a T-ball team with Major League Baseball’s RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) Austin affiliate. Britton also volunteers with a number of youth ministries associated with her church mentoring students in the Austin area. You can find her running, paddle-boarding on the lake, kayaking with her dog, Rudy and spending time with her family.
